For employers

The right care professionals. Assessed before they reach you.

Caroma Recruitment sources and pre-screens experienced international caregivers and nurses for aged-care providers — so you spend your time on final interviews, not sifting through unsuitable applications.

You need more than a CV.

Aged care is not a sector where a warm body will do. The wrong hire affects residents, disrupts your team, and creates risk your organisation cannot afford.

Qualifications are the minimum

A certificate tells you what someone studied. It doesn't tell you how they communicate with a resident who is frightened, or how they perform under pressure on a night shift.

International recruitment is time-consuming

Sourcing overseas candidates, assessing their suitability, and managing the early stages of the process takes significant internal resource — resource most aged-care providers don't have to spare.

Generic recruiters don't understand care

Most recruitment agencies assess candidates against a job description. We assess them against what it actually takes to provide safe, compassionate, and dignified care — because we've done it.

What makes Caroma different.

With more than ten years of UK frontline care experience, Caroma Recruitment brings first-hand understanding of the standards, professionalism and compassion exceptional care demands. Every candidate is carefully sourced and pre-screened to meet the individual workforce requirements of our clients.

10+

Years of UK frontline care experience

We have worked in care homes, supported living, and community care settings. We know what a good carer looks like — and what a poor one costs.

We assess for care, not just credentials

We evaluate candidates for the qualities that matter in aged care: communication, reliability, composure, empathy, and a genuine understanding of person-centred practice. Qualifications are the starting point, not the finish line.

We work to your brief, not a template

Every aged-care provider is different. We take time to understand your organisation, your residents, and the specific qualities you need — then build a candidate pipeline around that brief.

You only meet candidates worth your time

We handle sourcing, initial screening, and assessment. By the time a candidate reaches you, they have already been evaluated against your requirements. Your team's time is spent on final selection, not elimination.

We stay involved

Our role doesn't end when a candidate accepts an offer. We remain available to support both you and the candidate through the transition — because a smooth start is in everyone's interest.

How we work with you

01

We learn your requirements

We start with a detailed brief — the roles you need to fill, the experience and qualities required, and what matters most to your organisation and the people in your care.

02

We source and assess

We identify candidates from our international network and assess them against your brief — evaluating experience, communication, professionalism, and their understanding of person-centred care.

03

You meet a shortlist

We present pre-screened candidates for your review. You conduct final interviews and make the selection. We handle candidate sourcing and initial assessment before presenting suitable candidates for your review.

04

We support the transition

We remain available throughout the placement process to support both you and the candidate — helping ensure a smooth start and a successful long-term placement. Where employer sponsorship is required, immigration and sponsorship processes remain the responsibility of the sponsoring employer and appropriately authorised professionals.
